Lahore Qalandars clinched their third PSL title after a dramatic win over Quetta Gladiators in a thrilling final on Sunday night. With this victory, the team featuring Shakib Al Hasan and Rishad Hossain not only secured the trophy but also earned a hefty prize purse.

Before this, only Islamabad United had won the PSL three times. Now, Lahore joins them at the top, and Shaheen Shah Afridi stands out as the most successful captain in PSL history, leading Lahore to multiple titles.

Runner-up Quetta Gladiators received $200,000 USD, equivalent to 24.1 million BDT or 56 million PKR.

In the final, Quetta won the toss and opted to bat, posting 201/9 in 20 overs. In response, Lahore Qalandars started strong with openers Mohammad Naim and Fakhar Zaman, but a middle-overs slump slowed their momentum.
