Rangpur Division emerged as the champions of the National Cricket League T20, defeating Khulna Division by 8 wickets in the final. Nasir Hossain earned the man of the match award for his all-round performance.
Khulna, after losing the toss and batting first, scored 136 for 8 in 20 overs, with Mohammad Mithun top-scoring with 44 runs. In response, Rangpur Division comfortably reached the target with 17 overs, losing only two wickets.
Openers Nasir Hossain and Zahid Javed started strongly, with Javed scoring 27 off 24 balls before being dismissed, ending their opening partnership at 61. Nasir then partnered with experienced Naeem Islam for the second wicket, adding 23 runs, with Nasir falling just short of a half-century, scoring 46 off 31 balls.
Rangpur Division

Naeem and captain Akbar Ali finished the match with an unbroken 54-run partnership for the third wicket. Naeem remained unbeaten on 40 off 32 balls, and Akbar was 19 not out off 15 balls.
Khulna’s innings was disrupted early, losing wickets quickly. Mohammad Imranuzzaman fell in the second ball, followed by Enamul Haque Bijoy, who was run out. Soumya and Sheikh Parvez Jibanra also fell early, while Mithun held one end with a resilient 44 from 32 balls, but the team couldn’t build a large total.
